We created MAGS Skin because we were tired of the flare-ups, the compromises, and the “natural” products that never delivered. Even the cleanest formulas weren’t made for us.

MAGS Skin started with a Hinge date and a rash and quickly became a mission. We partnered with a chemist who shared our frustration and obsession.

Together, we formulated from the ground up. No fragrance. No baking soda. No shortcuts. Just magnesium and calming, skincare-first ingredients that actually work.

Then we tested it with hundreds of real people from the sensitive skin community. We listened. We fixed. We tested again.

Today, MAGS Skin is dermatologist-backed, clinically tested, and trusted by people who thought deodorant would never work for them.

  • Christine

    An operations, retail, and marketing veteran who has built teams and launched products for companies like Viacom, Detoxwater, and her own marketing agency, The Unwelcome Corp. She’s also lived with sensitive skin her entire life and knows exactly how hard it is to find products that don’t cause a reaction. Brings deep experience, high standards, and a personal mission to make skincare feel safe and thoughtful from start to finish.

  • Steven

    A registered nurse with a passion for entrepreneurship and a habit of turning unexpected ideas into real solutions. The spark for MAGS Skin started with a joke on a Hinge date about using Milk of Magnesia as deodorant for eczema and quickly turned into a deep dive into ingredient research, formula testing, and understanding the needs of people with reactive skin. Brings curiosity, care, and a drive to make products that actually help people feel better in their own skin.

  • Ingrid

    A seasoned cosmetic chemist and biochemist with over 13 years of experience, Ingrid has collaborated with innovative brands like Inkbox and now leads Formyoule, a boutique lab in Toronto that focuses on custom cosmetic product development and small-batch manufacturing. She’s also dealt with painful underarm cysts and flare-ups herself, which is why she was so determined to create a formula that could calm, protect, and actually work. Ingrid brings deep technical expertise, a commitment to clean formulation, and a whole lot of heart to everything she creates.
